Learning to Breathe Again

£4.95Price

A deeply personal story about child loss, grief, love and learning how to live alongside something that never truly leaves you.

This is my story of Rebecca, my daughter, and of the time in my life when everything changed.

I write honestly about losing her, the physical and emotional pain that followed, the loneliness of grief, the memories I still carry and the small moments that eventually helped me begin to breathe again.

This is not a guide to grief and it is not a story about “moving on”. It is simply one mother's experience of loving a child, losing her, and discovering that grief and love can eventually learn to exist beside one another.

Some of these pages are difficult. Others hold memories I now treasure. Above all, this is Rebecca's place in my story.

“I got to have her.”

And eventually, love learned to sit beside the pain.
